This type of mentality, although it can be chosen, is actually a symptom of this disorder which leads victim into an even more problematic state. Victims of GAD can suffer from insomnia, fatigue, headaches, irritability and trembling.
Even more dangerous is that if this disorder goes without treatment one can begin to suffer forms of depression.
GAD is simply an unstoppable feeling of worry, or anxiety, brought on by no apparent danger, or concern; it is suffered by more then 4 million people every year. This disorder is adaptive, and by that I mean that it is unique to each individual sufferer, for that matter no specific triggers can be named.
GAD most often appears in children, but it is also possible to first experience this disorder as an adult. It is also found that more women than men suffer from (GAD).
There are 6 different types of anxiety disorders, and they are Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Panic Disorder (PD), Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD), Post Traumatic Anxiety Disorder (PTAD), Obsessive Anxiety Disorder (OAD), and Phobia Related Anxiety Disorder (PRAD). All of which are highly treatable, and some of which are even curable.
When suffering from an anxiety disorder it is important to seek therapy, or treatment. There are two forms of therapy that would most likely be used in correcting, or curing such disorders.
First is cognitive therapy, this is a treatment more focused on ones mental state, uncovering the roots of the disorder and attempting to change the way one views certain situations or emotions.
Second is behavioral therapy, this type of treatment could be considered a type of confrontational therapy. This is where one would confront their fears over and over until becoming desensitized, or no longer afraid.
The one thing to remember is that anxiety disorders, although to some may seem trite, are real disorders and are cause for real concern. If you feel as though you may be suffering from one of the above mentioned disorders please seek treatment; whether professional or natural, seek treatment and take back your life today!
Did you know that over 4 million people suffer from GAD every year? Wouldn't it be great if there was a 100% natural, proven, cure for Anxiety?
